I was tagged again… by RJ to write a love poem! A love poem! *rolling eyes*
This is a love poem but is for my best friend, we no longer work together but she still is my best friend and I miss her a lot!
I warn you guys, not to laugh at the end of it. I am not a poet, but was compulsarily dragged into writing this! 🙂 😛
so hang on…. here I go;
My heart leaped,
When the phone rang,
I quipped,
Chirpily I chattered,
Lipstick and the new dress,
Gossip and distress,
All the things we talk about…
We are no longer together,
But my friend, when you call,
When we talk,
when we giggle,
When we fight,
I feel light.
Sweetie, you are the best…
My friend, The best!

Hi Sakhi. I loved the thought you expressed in this poem. I miss my friends too, many of whom are far away. Luckily through all of you in my blogging community I have found friends too. In fact like I suggested on Suda’s blog, I think we should have a bloggers meet with all of us in the community here. all of us are different ages and different backgrounds but it will be fun to meet. mostly i don’t go for the blogger meets as i don’t know anybody! what do you say?

Hi Nita… I would definitly come for the bloggers meet.. If it is in India! would love to meet all our bloger friends whom we praise and give brickbats time and again! its a wonderful thought! 🙂
I think meghana is also game for it as she also suggested it ihher blog!

Beautiful poem! Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful emotions, feelings and thoughts. One does not have to be a poet to write beautiful poems.
