There’s a monster under my bed!

To my mother I said,

She scorned at me ,

I tried to look brave with all my might,

Because I had woken her up in the middle of night.

There’s the monster under my bed!

I screamed again,

But my mother was in no mood,

To listen to my plead again and again.

So reluctantly went I to my room,

My room which was now den of doom.

I went where the evil monster lay,

Ready to eat and slay,

It was my time to pray,

I bravely crept into my room.

But, to my surprise,

Where the evil monster was supposed to lay,

There was a big pile of hay,

I was so happy I began to dance in joy,

What a mysterious day O boy!

Hey friends, this poem is written by my niece who is just 10 years old. Do let her know how did you like her poem. She has a good collection and wants to start her own blog. I agree completely. What you all say??
